A Fox News military analyst is not afraid to talk about civilian deaths in Syria: He seems to want to see more of them.
NBC’s Brian Williams called Bradley Manning “the man who may have put U.S. military secrets in the hands of Osama bin Laden.” But giving classified information to the public is something that news outlets–including NBC News–routinely do, and each time they do it they too could be accused of “aiding the enemy.”
Huffington Post reporter Michael Calderone (2/17/12) has a fairly comprehensive lookat the way media are covering Iran (I wish he’d cited FAIR’s long record on this; perhaps next time). The point is that Iran coverage looks a whole lot like Iraq coverage, circa 2002. Really bad, in other words.
