Bob Schieffer isn’t going to confuse regular folk by talking about complicated things like “income inequality.”

You know, David*, you went to Harvard, so you understand phrases like “income inequality” and things like that. I would kind of like to hear people talk about jobs…and things like that, though…. I think that’s a better way to go at it, myself, but…

But it is OK to expect the guest would believe that since he is a liberal, right? To think that Schieffer was once a half-decent journalist for CBS; now he is just another whore for RW neoliberalism.

Let’s face it! Bob Schieffer is and always has been a high paid media whore and to remain so he must stick to the corporate agenda! The only reason I watch his show is to see what they are lying and propagandizing about next along with the many things of importance they fail to report or discuss!
I googled “income inequality” and Harvard, because I wondered where that thought came from. Wow, if you google that you get a lot of stuff, including harvardmagazine.com. It seems that the current issue is all about income inequality.
Maybe , since his guest went there, Mr. Scheiffer decided to see what was hot news at Harvard, in case the interview went south.
Mr. Scheiffer did not go there, according to wikipedia, he went to Texas Christian U.
if you google that Harvard magazine,you’ll find an article by a CA and Harvard trained physician re: “why poor people get sicker.” LOL… I know that : no $, no food, no shelter, p/t jobs and no sick days: the walmart mantra……….so you can probably skip that article HOWEVER, there are a lot of articles in the magazine on “income inequality,” so, it appears that Harvard does know about it. : )
Harvard knows all about it. how to create it. how to avoid mixing with it, etc.

economist Michael Hudson did a superb interview with an irish web radiostation, and it was posted at informationclearinghouse.info early this week- feb 18 or so. the inequality is just what they want.
it makes sense, of course, that they know ALL about it; they just don’t think about it – if there’s no pile of money profits in it.
I should be the last person to knock a school so dear to my heart and experience but….Harvard and income equality .Lets just say most of those who go there never expect to “go there”.And a majority have never “gone there”.If you get my drift
