On CNN (12/2/16), anchor Carol Costello introduced a story about how Donald Trump is convening a panel of prominent CEOs to consult with on a monthly basis on issues including job growth and taxes.
CNN reporter Christina Alesci reported excitedly that the panel, assembled by the Blackstone Group’s CEO Stephen Schwartzman, will be made up of a “who’s who” of “bipartisan CEOs,” including GM’s Mary Barra, Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase, Disney‘s Bob Iger, Doug McMillon of Walmart and Jack Welch, former GE CEO.
“What we’re seeing here is really historic,” said Allesci:
I’ve never seen anything quite like this…. Like I said before, this list really represents a bipartisan group, so he will have some very diverse viewpoints just to tap into.
The very definition of corporate media diversity: the entire spectrum of opinion, from GE to GM.

The most accurate part of her piece was when Ms Allesci noted “What we’re seeing here is really historic,” though she really should have noticed that “hysteric” was misspelled.
I guess Trump thought the nation just didn’t have enough corporate influence and representation.
Leave it to a corporate media outlet to continue pushing the false dichotomy (D vs R) narrative to continue dividing and distracting us. If CNN was worth its salt, it would focus on all these yahoos being representatives of Corporate America rather than Main St America.
