How did the New York Times cover Occupy Wall Street’s anniversary? Did corporate media even mention the NATO airstrikes in Afghanistan that killed eight women? And what makes an FBI terrorism investigation newsworthy? All that on this week’s edition of FAIR TV.
Please take a look, and spread the word.

You’re doing a great job here at FAIR. Keep up the good work. We need you!
I’m with Joseph. Thank you for saying what others won’t. We need you VERY VERY much.
Without FAIR we would know much less than we do now. You are a must in our society.
Top-down, government-funded domestic terrorists make media headlines.
Bottom-up, grass-roots terror groups are just too poorly funded and boring to make the media take notice. Besides, they look too much like ordinary Americans to be scary, and they mostly terrorize victims who look too different from the rest of the majority to be a threat to most ‘real’ Americans.
Maybe the media is afraid of confusing their audience by mixing up the color and religion of the members of their hero and villain classes. They must not want people to start thinking critically before going to a commercial break, where a feeling of security and emotional receptivity is so important to their advertisers.
Getting better with your delivery Peter.
The media is consciously Orwellian… “conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies……
Keep after “IT” Peter and Cohorts… we DO need you… Blessings to all at FAIR – and your Families!
Thanks michael e.
You welcome.I starting to enjoy this segment.
“Im” that is
Good lord…One more time(take three)
Your welcome.Im starting to enjoy this segment.
Take four: You (apostrophe) re welcome. (space) I (apostrophe) m starting to enjoy this segment.
Ha that is funny. And of course you are correct.See what working 18 hours at the hospital does to you?Well the first thing it does, is pay me for 9 hours. The rest go to taxes :)
@ michael e: You used to claim, again and again, that you made your many grammatical errors to annoy “libs.” Now you claim they result from your long working hours. Well that’s a problem I can solve for you. Stop posting your frequently off-subject, self-centered, grammatically challenged, ill-informed, vulgar, hate-filled nonsense altogether, here or anywhere.
Kudos to Fair for their new Fair TV segments!
The content I watched was succinct, cogent and delivered with a professionally dispassionate tone. Although editorializing on media oversights (and deliberate lies) may not change policy overnight, it helps people to remember what news could be, and still is once in a while.
Thanks!
John Q Hatred????Where do you see hatred?I hate no-one.Certainly no one on this sight. It is just peoples opinions.I celebrate this amazing country that has such a variance in viewpoints.I detest Obamas policies but hate him?Absolutely not.He seems nice enough ,and a good family man.Hope I run into him someday when he is a public citizen.I believe he believes what he is doing is best for this country.I believe the people on this sight believe it.I wholeheartedly believe you are both wrong.
The question may be asked …do you hate?Do you hate Bush?Do you hate me?Or the Tea party? You sure sound hateful.Maybe you just hate people who care (a lot)less than you do about grammar/spelling/punctuation .You and my grandmother would of gotten on very well.A misplaced word ,or a mistake in writing, would bring her down on you like the wrath of God.Maybe if I am writing to you in the future I will treat you like my grand ma ,and watch my step. :)
