What kind of feedback have you gotten from CNN?
They’re thrilled. They just tell me not to forget it’s an intelligent audience. And to remain independent. And being independent right now is a really good thing. Being too far right or left right now is a bit dangerous, given what’s going on in the Middle East. What Americans need is facts.
I watched some of his show last night. The guests were Hugh Hefner and his soon-to-be-wife. I guess that would be neither right nor left—just the “facts.”
What does being ‘too far right or too far left’ have to do with what’s going on in the Middle East right now? Especially for the American audience? (“What Americans need is facts.”)
Mr. Morgan: You come out of the gate stumbling. Please figure out that not only are we an ‘intelligent audience,’ we might actually be more intelligent than you are.

When the News Department at CNN has a member of any of America’s socialist parties on air — I’ll eat my own.
I would include a similar wish for a member of a farther-to-the-right party to be on air but, that’s already on-going. [I.E., Tea Partiers, Minuteman movement, “American Spectator” magazine, the Council on Foreign Affairs, “Commentary” magazine, National Endowment for Democracy, etc.]
Of course, no matter how reactionary one is — one is “a patriot first and far-right second.” Anyone to the left of Barack Obama might as well be sent to Gitmo.
Some bookkeeping, if I may say so.
By the way — the “News Hounds” website (‘We Watch Fox So You Don’t Have To’) is a false flag operation. When NH’s bung craters spread one of Fox’s b.s. stories about a camera and ‘journalist’ “team” being mugged by anti-Mubarak protesters in Cairo — the same crew which had be “detained” as Israeli spies by Mubarak’s thugs only hours before — they played it straight. Which is either very stupid or very naive.
Fox loves to set up a “channel” on-line in order to diffuse dissent about their yellow journalism. If you’ve noticed that News Hounds is about the only website of its type that never has to ask for money — roll yourself a big cigar. NH has to “scrape by” just about as often as the Tea Party does.

That’s funny, Jamie, I read it once, under the influence of a powerful ale, and got it. Thanks, pelle lindbergh. Too bad I missed Hef and his new bride, a woman young enough to be his great-grandaughter. Hef is incapable of shame or embarassment, and so are the honchos at CNN.
CNN might as well hire someone from the current administration since their news is about the same as Obama’s press secretary.
In my opinion, CNN is a small step above FOX News and both cable news shows contribute to the brainwashing of Americans, who have to search out the real objective news as broadcast on the internet such as on the Pacifica FM and inernet stations, Democracy Now with Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, ALTERNET, COMMON DREAMS, and Aljazeera English which is now broadcast on the Pacifica network of stations. BBC many times gets it right but not always. By the way, the tone of Wolf Blitzer’s voice always makes me feel that doomsday is just around the corner. Who needs him!
How many times has Chomsy been interviewed on CNN and even Ralph Nader for that matter. Studs Turkel would have been a refreshing change. It would have been nice to have Michael Moore as a regular commentator to compete with all of the right wingers on your channel. (For all I know, they may be more to the right than I can imagine but because of policy at CNN, they must come across as center, center right, or the right. They wouldn’t be the first to sell out for the almighty dollar). Keep up the brainwash which is helping to really dumb down America. Most students I teach don’t know Guatemala from Serbia and it really doesn’t matter because all of the high school drop outs use a grammar that is totally unintelligible. Even CNN announcers are now using grammar that is totally incorrect. Maybe, that’s why the young are imitating them. At least you’ll have a lot of choices for future hiring.
I saw Hef and his great grandchild..er a wife i mean on the above mentioned interview.I was glad to see that a beautiful woman can find an 84 year old man who wears depends,gums his food,and never is out of his PJs a hunk. And his oodles of money has nothing at all to do with that perception problem.Im thinking an hour of Charlie Sheen talking about Wisconsin labor problems is next.
