This week on the show: ABC World News hardly covered the midterm elections–but when they did, it looked more like an ad for a Republican candidate.
Plus we’ll look at one example of campaign coverage done right, and a curious climate change segment on CNN–one where the host does exactly the kind of thing he says the media shouldn’t be doing.
Watch it:

If a politician acknowledges that humans contribute to global warming, they do not necessarily have to propose a solution. In this case the contribution is small, the likely changes are modest and can be mitigated or adapted to, and the proposed “solution” is so intolerable that no thinking person would insist on drastic harm to avoid a minor risk.
Re: connecting the dots to the Koch brothers, in case you haven’t seen it, the Global Warming celebrity James Hansen was recently quoted as saying that Democrats are doing far more to prevent workable legislation than Republicans.

He says that Republicans are willing to discuss carbon credits as long as all proceeds go back to the people to defray added fuel and electricity costs. The Democrats always sabotage any deal by insisting that any revenue go into the general budget to further expand government.
So, instead of playing connect-the-dots to the Koch brothers, perhaps you should start doing that back to those doing more to stall legislation, the Democrat party.
