After Barack Obama announces his plan to strike ISIS, we take a look at how media are marching to war. Plus Henry Kissinger faces an all-too-rare critical interviewer, while Fox News issues a non-apology for its domestic violence joke.
All that–in under five minutes!–on this week’s FAIR TV:

that was an excellent report. thank you.
at the beginning when you cited Obama’s supposed reluctance to perpetuate further the perpetual war, I remembered this presstv debate between the democrats’ Center for American Progress’ Lawrence korb and ex-marine peace activist ken okeefe where this very same “reluctance” on Obama’s part to bomb Syria last year after the chemical attack took place was posited by mr. korb. Ken gives a powerful response. I wish the u.s. military and the white house would have heard it.
recorded just about one year ago, august 28, 2013- it’s some real tv like what we need much more of. – to replace fox and cnn and the rest.
it’s called – Syria war of deception- ken o’keefe at youtube.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reporting. While I’m very much in league with your analysis, may I suggest considering coming across a little less smugly? Like I said, I agree with what you’re saying, and I want others to hear it. But please take a look at the delivery, and consider how it sounds. Not meaning to be offensive, but I don’t have your personal email.
Thanks, and with genuine respect,
Tom Patterson
