This week on CounterSpin: Political journalists would likely tell you they take the Black Lives Matter movement seriously, but it’s up to us to tell them that that has to mean more than prompting presidential candidates to say the words aloud. We’ll talk about some potential elements of an actual criminal justice reform agenda with Michele Jawando, VP of Legal Progress at the Center for American Progress.

Also on the show: Many people have concerns about what happens to their food—whatever it is they do to a tomato that lets it get shipped halfway around the world and sit on a shelf for two weeks… That tends to be a story about science or marketing, but not, usually, about the rights of the people that grow the food. That’s where the idea of food sovereignty comes in. We’ll discuss what that means with Beverly Bell of the group Other Worlds.

And first our quick look back at the week’s press, including fake ISIS nuclear plots and the Democratic debate.

As the lower half of society is the impoverished laboring-class, as the educated upper half owns all the wealth. the perfect solution is a law requiring that a forth of the land and wealth be owned by the lower half.`
ROOT CAUSE
All of mainstream media and publishing, all owned by the corporate rich, so it is quite natural for them to create an illusion to hide the all encompassing motivation that controls every aspect of society and government. For the grand illusion is that the top 1% owns more then the bottom 90%, in essence that the bottom 90% is innocent as the driven snow as they suffer a loss of wealth and have good motivation to change things for the better.
But the truth is, the educated upper half is most happy with the way that the wealth has been divided, as they for a fact own all the wealth. For who in the laboring-class lower half of society has anything that resembles savings, investments or wealth as they live from week to week consuming everything that they earn.
So, the voting majority is the educated upper half, they always vote for a minimum wage that keeps the Laboring-class enslaved and all of law enforcement, they all being of the educated upper half, they spend 95% of their time establishing a police state for the lower half.
