Here’s the cartoon, by Cameron Cardow of the Ottawa Citizen, that USA Today selected as its daily editorial cartoon for February 2:

It’s not a terribly hard cartoon to parse: Islam is the modern equivalent of Nazism, and threatens a new Holocaust. The cartoon lists entities that have nothing in common with each other aside from their connection to Islam—political movements like Hezbollah and Hamas, who have been the targets of far more violence than they are responsible for, along with groups like ISIS and Boko Haram, terrorist groups whose victims are primarily Muslim. Hezbollah and ISIS are actually engaged in intense warfare with each other.
In case you missed the point, the cartoon puts one of the holiest phrases in Islam—”Allah Akbar,” or “God is great”—in the mouth of a Nazi skeleton.
(Along with its roll call of Muslim villains, the cartoon includes the phrase “politically correct,” which I can only take to mean that people who criticize the politics of cartoons—for example—are a kind of Nazi too.)
No doubt defenders of the cartoon will say that it’s only talking about the bad kind of Islam, which is just as persuasive as making a list of all the horrible people you can think of from a particular ethnic group and then saying that you’re only talking about the bad people from that ethnic group. One would hope USA Today would decline to make such a smear its daily editorial cartoon.

Cartoons are cartoons. If I like them or they disgust me, I respect the 1st Amendment! Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are much more important than peoples feelings about religion or travesties of the past. All religions are fair game(as is non-belief) and the Redskins logo while disgusting is protected as well.
p.s. I contribute to FAIR and support the Constitution ( it isn’t perfect but we need some rule of law or we’ll have chaos).

Saying Islam is the equivalent to Nazism is like saying Christianity represents Nazism. As Nazis were a VERY SMALL sect of people that happened to be Christian-based, ISIS is the same to Islam. The number of extremist Muslims is exceptionally small… but very very well publicized.

This article calls Hamas – a terrorist organisation according to the USA – a victim?? In what way can these two terrorist organisations, along with the PLO in anyway be considered victims?

Islam’s so called soft corners are caused from putty covered with whitewash. Today they are filed to sharp points by Islamists, with the permission of the Moderates who do nothing to stop them.
If the Moderate Muslims in this world did something about terrorism and put out Fatwas on Al Qaeda and the like who they shout about not being Muslims – then there would have been no need for war in Iraq or Afghanistan. Because it is shouted by every terrorist whenever they prepare to do, or do something horrific to someone eg chopping off heads, murdering people etc. Destroying property, rioting. This was in regard to Meccans, but the majority of the Arab tribes actually turned away from Islam. Abu Bakr fought them. The ruthlessness of Khalid Ibn al-Walid was very apparent. Dr. Abu Zayd said about Khalid Ibn al-Walid that he was the one who gouged out the eyes of apostates.
Still, there are important questions in this regard which beg our attention and they are: Why did the Arabs become apostate after the death of Muhammad? Why did the Meccans intend to turn away from Islam? The familiar answer is that they had embraced Islam under the threat of the sword because Muhammad forced them to choose between Islam or death.
And Islam in any Muslim dominated country around the earth are still giving these 3 options:
1) Convert to Islam
2) Pay a price to be allowed to live and live in subjection to Muslim masters

Volume 9, Book 83, Number 17:
Narrated ‘Abdullah:
Allah’s Apostle said, “The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims.”

The comparison that this cartoon tries to make is completely logically flawed for obvious reasons. The Nazis were a German extremist group. Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, ISIS, Hamas, and Hezbollah are Islamist extremist groups. While the Nazis were infamously German, a very small percentage of Germans were Nazis–considering that most of the Jews persecuted by the Nazis were German as well. While all Islamic extremist groups are Muslim (or at least consider themselves to be Muslim), a very small percentage of Muslims are members of Islamic extremist groups–not to mention that Islamic extremist groups such as Boko Haram are no strangers to killing their own Muslim brethren (http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/02/dozens-reported-killed-boko-haram-raid-cameroon-150204204704396.html). This is has nothing to do with Islam. Not even the bit you think must mean Mohammed!! You cannot force Mo into a book that is not about him.
It is a prophecy about Israel, about her being besieged.
Then attacked.
But God will save her – not the first time but the second time.
In OUR future – FROM THE ARMIES OF ISLAM
5 Jerusalem, all your enemies will become like fine dust.
Their terrifying armies will become like straw
that the wind blows away.
All of a sudden, in an instant,
6 the LORD who rules over all will come.
He will come with thunder, earthquakes and a lot of noise.
He’ll bring windstorms and rainstorms with him.
He’ll send a blazing fire that will burn up everything.
7 Armies from all the nations will fight against Ariel.
They will attack it and its fort.
They’ll surround it completely.
But suddenly those armies will disappear like a dream.
They will vanish like a vision in the night….
In the same way, the armies from all the nations
that fight against Mount Zion will disappear.
It matches with the end times visions of John the apostle in Revelation.
Also Psalm 83.
The end of Isaiah 29:
22 Long ago the LORD saved Abraham from trouble. Now he says to Jacob’s people, [note – NOT Ishmael’s people.]
“You will not be ashamed anymore.
Your faces will no longer grow pale with fear.
23 You will see your children living among you.
I myself will give you those children.
Then you will honour my name.
You will recognize how holy I am.
I am the Holy One of Jacob.
You will have great respect for me.
I am the God of Israel.
24 I will give understanding to you
who find yourselves going astray.
You who are always speaking against others
will accept what I teach you.”
You cannot take one verse and make something out of it that it is not.
Isaiah 29 says God almighty is the God of …..WHO??? …….ISRAEL.

We have in the world today the equivalent of the population of the USA who hate the Jews and wish the Western population dead and buried. That is between 10 -20 %.
