This week on CounterSpin: No one should be surprised that the Trump White House declared the recent commando raid in Yemen that killed at least 23 civilians, including children, “a successful operation.” Some media accounts are describing the first raid on Trump’s watch as “botched,” but that’s not the same as questioning it, much less putting it in a broader context of what’s happening in Yemen and what the US is doing there. We’ll get more information from Zaid Jilani, reporter for The Intercept.

Also on the show: Time magazine ran a column hopefully titled “Why Trump Will Lose His War on Science,” but the conclusion seemed to be that “when rising oceans swamp coastal communities or unvaccinated children fall to outbreaks of measles,” Trump won’t be able to blame media or a rigged election—which, while true, seems to miss the point. We’ll talk about science and the resistance with Andrew Rosenberg of the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Time Magazine has become a rag for pharmaceutical drug ads. Time magazine knows who are their masters and its certainly not the truth or good science. They never try to separate good science vs tobacco science and vaccination science is tobacco science. Go ahead and disparage Kennedy. Kennedy gets it right. The CDC is a Cesspool of Corruption. The truth will eventually come out and Time magazine will be used to line liter boxes.
