With pitched battles going on right now here in Washington and in statehouses from Florida to Wisconsin to California, with me now, our roundtable: George Will, Congressman Steve Southerland, a Republican freshman from Florida– he was elected to public office for the very first time last November and sent here to Washington on a mission to cut spending. Also with us, ABC senior political correspondent Jonathan Karl and political strategist Donna Brazile, who calls herself a labor Democrat.
So the right wing Will, a right wing Congressman, an ABC journalist who came to Beltway journalism after participating in a right-wing journalism training institute… and from the left, Donna Brazile.
Aaaaand after some polite noises, Donna Brazile will nod her head and agree with them, as they talk over her and ignore her. She’s so useless. Does she live in the green rooms of these chat shows? They love booking her because she’s a woman/minority/Democrat all rolled into one- up against 3 Republican heavy-hitters. It’s such a joke.
These shows never stop talking about “the left”, and lately, unions- so where the hell are they?
What do people expect from the MSM outlets? They are all owned by the corporatists & if they don’t tow the line they are fired, so they jump in the bag because they have no guts, no honor.
This is the new America, everyone is on his own, to hell with the other guy. Democracy is gone & fascism is in. Now everyone sing — America is great! And put your hearts into it…or else!
Yes Donna Brazile! You may be all those things (woman, minority , Dem) but you hold your own against a sea of Corporatist. I’d like to see your critics fight that all the time. And by the way, God Bless women, minorities, and Dems..last I looked they were still Americans with a voice too.
As for ABC they put on their Mickey Mouse ears all the time to dummy down or ignore issues. My Lord, one morning the battle in Wisconsin was nothing more than a crawler to them.
