Fox says, for the record, that Rivers wasn’t canceled due to the joke; the show was overbooked, and she’llbe rescheduled. As someone who has been booked–andthen canceled–by Fox a couple of times, I’m skeptical of Fox‘s story here.
I cannot understand how Fox News can have so much difficutly distinguishing between tragedy and comedy! Actually it’s quite simple. Here’s an example: The tragedy of the recent shootings in Tuscon is that Roger Ailes was not present.

Sarah is no joking matter. She is IMHO flat assed dangerous.
Personally, I’m sick of hearing about SP. She got her book deals, written by a ghost writer. She is making millions on that. She should not even be talking politics as she is not even a politican any longer, she quit her governor’s position in Alaska. If it wasn’t for McCain’s choice for VP, we would never even know who she is, and who cares what she does or doesn’t do now. End of story.
Sarah is a bad joke in this country and around the world. She is now nothing more than a very rich entertainer. PERIOD!
She is done politically. Anyone that thinks she is a viable candidate, probably is male, owns a gun and lives in a trailer. I’d bet money on it.
Wow, Leo Toribio–I have to admit, that works on several levels, many of them funny. Ailes’ bullshit remarks about “both sides” toning it down really pissed me off, and I suspect that and many other things the Great White Whale has said (and done) over the years has gotten under your skin too.
The funny thing is that the left actually thinks Sarah is a threat.She is a voice certainly.And in America that is great.She has not announced she is running for anything.Even if she did ,you cant find a right leaning poll that gives her any chance.I see her as a lightning rod in a magic show.Look at the right hand and miss what the left hand is doing.She is taking the heat.No leader has emerged for the right.They have the message but no single voice yet.And this early in the game that is how it should be.Plenty of time to shake out.As for Sarah she is overexposed.Takes nothing from her message.It’s just a fact.But as long as she has a podium she will be a thorn in the lefts ass.Dont believe she will up and disappear.The threat remains in her words.The truth hurts.
Sarah Palin sure is a very bad joke around the world, even in the Netherlands. It’s amazing that a brainless twit gets so much attention. I hope this woman never gets any real influence in American politics, because if she does, God help the rest of the world.

Forget Pailin – a joke or worse. But keep your eye on Marco Rubio. He’s the real deal — young, energetic, smart, serious, very, very conservative, yet not scary to moderates like Pailin, et al. (as Charlie Crist found out). In a field of clowns and walking wounded from a very old show on re-runs, he is the one that stands out. And he scares me.
No need to worry about Palin, folks–there never was. She’s got political skin as thick as rice paper, and one needs a hide like an elephant (appropriate simile there, no?) to get by in that world. She’s a dope, but not like GW Bush–he understands that some of that shit that gets thrown at you, whether true or false, you need to just forget about it. (Bill Clinton understands this too.) I actually started to feel sorry for her there a bit when she was on Hannity, blubbering and stammering and lying (not very well, as usual) about the Jews and the blood libels and poor.poor pitiful Her. She’s doomed, but she’ll continue to make a fortune–the only thing that really matters to her.
