In the paper’s report today (7/1/10), reporter Jim Michaelsgets a comment from the British defense minister (“We must hold our nerve”), and then, foran entirely different point of view,goes to someone from the hawkish Center for Strategic and International Studies, who says the same thing:
Stephen Flanagan, an analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said death statistics alone are not a good measure of how the war is going.
“They’re not an indicator of success or failure,” he said. “It’s not a war of attrition.”
Once Obama became Pres.all meaningful discussion of anything he does or may do is sanitized by his lapdog press.Remember general Betray us?As soon as BAM put him in charge in Afghanistan. Hell You could loose half the troups tomorrow if Obama ordered them to” hug a terrorist today”and the majority of press would still spin it his way.He would be a brilliant peacemaker dont ya see?Not appreciated in his time no less.Not FOX of course,or the alternative media…..Bush was crucified to a high standard on the conduct of the war..BAM……well he is like nailing jello to a wall.He seems an innocent bystander
