The TV networks went big with the accusations of Chinese economic espionage–but somehow failed to note the glaring US hypocrisy. Fires in California were also big news–but climate change was barely mentioned.
And NBC‘s Meet the Press has a new series that tries to get out of the Beltway to find the real America. But so far its vision of the country is a remarkably narrow one.
Watch:

Ed Snowed, hasn’t told us anything new, other than the spy programs names. Anyone following this spy business would realize that mass government surveillance is nothing new! Yet, like his counterparts, Julian Assange and Daniel Ellsberg, we hear nothing useful or insightful about the Kennedy assassinations, 911, ‘Arab Spring’, ‘Color Revolutions,’ or anything that would reveal the CIA and/or State Dept., Western Intelligence roles in these shady, suspect activities! Here’s the most useful and informative thing I read to date about ‘Snowden the Snowjob’: http://tarpley.net/2013/06/19/how-to-identify-a-cia-limited-hangout-operation/
I agree Erobos… The media is silent and gives us things like ferry accidents around the world, etc. To families there it is a concern. We have bigger problems here to address. Silence.
Bring home our troops from 1,000 bases around the world. Take about reckless spending. It is to protect international corporate profits and resources mainly. Their plan for US…not ours.
The Tin Foil Hat Industry must be feeling the competitive heat from the concision and clarity of Snowden’s revelations. It’s not even insane, much less too substantial to be merely suspicious.
Something for the Snowden groupies to chew on: http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/06/exclusive-in-2009-ed-snowden-said-leakers-should-be-shot-then-he-became-one/
