According to candidates for the country’s highest offices, and the KKK flyers showing up around town, this means that these legal immigrants should be pushed out of the country—or, no doubt, in the minds of inspired vigilantes, much worse.
We spoke with filmmaker, activist and author Jen Senko in April 2023. The Brainwashing of My Dad—Jen Senko’s film and the book based on it—are an effort to engage the effects of that yelling, punching down, reactionary media. We’ll hear our conversation with her this week on CounterSpin.

Excellent program that gave a succinct view on the present corporate media’s serious problems and how they grew from the past.
My friend of many years has recently been brainwashed by the manosphere. When I challenged some of these beliefs, he responded with personal attacks and aggression. I read Kathleen Taylor’s Brainwashing and I tried to tell him that he was brainwashed but it resulted in additional attacks.
After you posted this, I sent him this documentary on Youtube, and I think it may have broken through this programming. It’d be amazing to get my friend back.
