Guess who’s booked to appear on the CBS Sunday morning chat show Face the Nation this weekend? None other than Wisconsin Republican Paul Ryan.
It has, after all, been an eternity since Sunday TV viewers had a chance to listen to Ryan talk about his Medicare-slashing budget plan.
May 22 on Meet the Press, to be exact.
FAIR’s new petition to the television networks asks why Ryan’s far-right plan has been getting so much more coverage than the People’s Budget of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Add your voice today!

If only We the People had Suze “Snooty” Ormand on our side.
Ms. Ormond’s current infomercial features a lecture on how “ordinary” Americans can simply accept the current burdens of recession, joblessness, soaring tuition costs, and “D-I-Y” health care by putting on a brave face” for their kids. After all, why should parent(s) continue moping about economic conditions of living “that are here to stay?”
“Just accept things as they are and as cheerfully as the people who spend your tax dollars on themselves. Otherwise, you’ll be raising a generation of kids who’re PERMANENTLY DEPRESSED and POSSIBLY DRUG-DEPENDENT! And it’s all because they grew up in a dysfunctional family like yours which can’t live in the moment with even so much as a smile.” Or merrily find a way to live on wages that pay forty cents on the dollar.
AND — she’s a big friend of Paul Ryan’s. But that’s only so long as the GOP keeps the money rolling into Ormand’s coffins — I mean coffers — by buying all that motivational crap trap she hawks on DVD and eBooks.
